Moving Millions / Moving Forward
Launched in 2015, in partnership with the Regional Transportation Authority, Metropolitan Transit Authority, Metropolitan Planning Organization, Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and several other organizations, the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce's Moving Forward / Moving Millions transit campaign tracked objectives to create a path to a comprehensive regional transit system. The region achieved identification and passage of state revenue enhancements through the passage of the IMRPOVE Act and the ability to raise local, dedicated funding for transit, achieved more than 30,000 engagements with Middle Tennesseans and secured local dedicated funding in hopes for a comprehensive transit referendum.
